Dooley To Speak in Powder Springs Next Month

Former UGA football coach Vince Dooley will be the guest speaker at the Hillgrove Foundation's third-annual Performing the Dream benefit event.

The Hillgrove Foundation will host the third-annual Performing for the Dream benefit Feb. 22 in the Hillgrove Auditorium. The event will feature guest speaker Vince Dooley, who served as the head football coach and director of athletics for the University of Georgia from 1964 to 2004.

In addition to Dooley, the program will include feature performances from visual and performing arts students from Hillgrove High School’s Fine Arts Department starting at 7 p.m.

General admission tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door or by visiting the Hillgrove Foundation website.

Fifty VIP tickets also will be sold and include an hourlong meet-and-greet with Dooley and light hors d’oeuvres starting at 6 p.m. VIP Tickets must be reserved at Hillgrove High School at 4165 Luther Ward Road in Powder Springs, or by contacting 678-331-3961.
