Indians Readying for Football
Following a 10-2 season, McEachern hopes to again top Region 4AAAAA and move even deeper into the playoffs.
With eight offensive and six defensive starters returning, the football team is pumping up for the upcoming season's first game against North Gwinett on Aug. 20.
The Indians won the Region 4AAAAA championship and finished 10-2 last season. They were knocked out in the second round of the playoffs by Valdosta 31-28.
The team is led by Head Coach Kyle Hockman. Since taking over for Jim Dorsey, who had been at the helm from 1984 to 2007, Hockman has a record of 25-8. The team has a record of 339-215-10 since 1960, according to past records on the school's website.
