Locals Named as Top Students at Georgia Southern
Several from Powder Springs are on the university's spring 2012 president's and dean's lists.
Georgia Southern University in Statesboro recently recognized 1,090 students, including several from Powder Springs, for excellence in academics on its spring 2012 president's and dean's lists.
To be eligible for the president's list, a student must have at least a 4.0 GPA and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester. To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must have at least a 3.50 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
