McEachern Stuns North Gwinnett, 26-17
The Indians scored 13 points in the final 10 seconds for the come-from-behind victory at the Corky Kell Classic.
With bothΒ and North Gwinnett losing in the second round of last year's state tournament, the teams were looking to get on the winning track to start the 2011 season.
They met at the Corky Kell Classic in the Georgia Dome on Saturday to try to make that happen.
North Gwinnett held a slim lead for most of the game and late in the fourth quarter was ahead by four, 17-13.

But McEachern put together a drive in the last two minutes, and Chris Nwagbara inched the ball across the goal line with 10 seconds remaining in the game to give the Indians the lead, 20-17.
The Indians then ran an interception back for a touchdown on the final play of the game for a final of 26-17.

McEachern scored 13 points in the first 47 minutes and 50 seconds of the game, then 13 more in the final 10 seconds for the win.
Overall, it was a good day for Cobb County in the annual Cobb-vs.-Gwinnett quadrupleheader. Cobb won the day, 3-1, as , 14-6, and , 26-14. The sole loss was .
