Talent Hits the Stage at Trinity Chapel

On Friday, the school hosted its sixth annual TCA Idol event, which is based on "American Idol" but allows students to perform more than singing.

Student singers, musicians and performers strutted their stuff on stage Friday in front of friends and family for Trinity Chapel Academy's sixth annual TCA Idol event.

While TCA Idol is based on the popular singing show "American Idol," staff and supporters of Trinity Chapel have made it completely their own by allowing students to perform tae kwon do, play piano and showcase other various talents.

With a fairly new orchestra and chorus program and a popular praise band, the school has a growing music presence, Orchestra Instructor Robbie Ooten said.

"We have some very, very exciting things happening at Trinity Chapel as far as music and the arts go," she said.
