Task Force Reaches Out to Families

The Powder Springs' organization hosted its annual Back-2-School Bash event Saturday, where backpacks were handed out and workshops were offered.

The was a hub of community resources, workshops, entertainment and more Saturday when the Powder Springs Community Task Force hosted its annual Back-2-School Bash.

In partnership with the Cobb Community Collaborative, the event offered not only free school supplies, like two free book bags per family, but also a multitude of resources. Attendees were given workshops on car repair, finances, job searching and health care.

Local music group NU M-MAGE entertained while the crowd enjoyed food and activities.
