Athlete of the Week: Kenyan Drake
Every week, Patch will select a high school athlete that exceeded expectations on the field of play.
Kenyan Drake led the Hawks to a Friday and is now the Powder Springs-Lithia Springs Athlete of the Week.
Drake, a senior running back, scored on runs of 66 and 82 yards agaist Sprayberry and tallied 170 yards on the ground on just seven carries. He’s well on the way to surpassing the numbers he set last year when he rushed for more than 1,000 yards and added more than 500 receiving yards.
Drake recently committed to the University of Alabama and will head to Tuscaloosa, Ala. after he graduates in 2012.
