With many Douglas County children having little to no food to eat while they aren't at school, this event aims to raise money for nutritious food to send home with children every Friday. There will be a 5K and 1-mile fun run to benefit A Gift of Love. The nonprofit organization in Douglas County addresses many of the needs of local children, including school supplies, clothing and food. The race will be at the Douglas Countys Clinton Nature Preserve. You can in person at Douglasville First United Methodist Church at 6167 Prestley Mill Road in Douglasville.
