Hillgrove Looking to Clinch Playoff Berth

There's still nine days left in the high school baseball regular season, but that doesn't mean can't start thinking about the playoffs.

The Hawks—currently 7-2 and in second place in Region 4-AAAAA—can clinch a playoff berth today if they get a little help from some of their region rivals.

First, Hillgrove will have to take care of business against Campbell. The Spartans (6-13, 1-8) come into today's game having lost nine of their last 10.

If the Hawks can get past Campbell, they'll need both Kennesaw Mountain and to lose to officially clinch the playoff spot. On the other hand, Hillgrove can clinch a postseason berth without any help if they beat Campbell and then top South Cobb on Friday.
