Lithia Springs Looking to Knock Off Region Leader

The baseball team will try to end a four-game slide when they travel to Pope High School today to take on the region-leading Greyhounds.

With one more loss, the Lions will be officially eliminated from postseason play, which means one thing: If Lithia Springs wants to keep its playoff hopes alive, its going to have to upset Pope.

After a 7-2 start to this season, the Lions dropped eight of their next 10 games. The Lions haven't won a game since April 1. First pitch at Pope High School is scheduled for 5:55 p.m.

South Paulding at Lithia Springs—5:30 p.m.

at Osborne—5:45 p.m.
