Lithia Springs Tunes Up for Playoffs

The Lions had their last practice at home Wednesday before heading to Sequoyah on Saturday to battle the top-ranked Chiefs.

Coach Jason Slate of prepared his team on Wednesday for the first round of the state AAAA playoffs against Sequoyah on Saturday at 7 p.m. at . Β 

"Sequoyah has five players shooting 3-point-range shots consistently, so this practice, we will be working on covering them," Slate said, noting what characteristics his team has that could lead to a state championship.

"We do a good job of running the offense. We're a very unselfish team, making us very dangerous."

Lithia Springs will be led by star forward Bobby Brown against Sequoyah.
