McEachern Needs Win to Keep Playoff Hopes Alive
Here's what's happening in high school athletics in Powder Springs and Lithia Springs on April 28.
If Indians don't want their baseball season to end this week, they're going to have to win their final two games.
The challenge starts today, when the Indians (7-17, 6-6) will travel to second-place North Cobb (14-10, 9-3). The two teams played earlier this season, resulting in a 3-0 North Cobb victory.
Currently, McEachern sits at sixth place in Region 4-AAAAA, and they need to move up to fourth to qualify for the playoffs. Kennesaw Mountain is in fifth, a half game ahead of the Indians, while Harrison and South Cobb are tied for third at one game ahead of McEachern.
