Hillgrove, McEachern Set for Playoffs

Beach and Benedictine will travel to Powder Springs to start the football postseason.

Now they know which teams will be traveling to Powder Springs and what their paths look like to get to the AAAAA championship game in the Georgia Dome on Dec. 10.

Hillgrove, a perfect 10-0 after beating Campbell, 33-7, will open the Georgia High School Association’s AAAAA playoffs at home against Region 3-AAAAA’s fourth-seeded team, Beach (5-5 overall, 4-4 in the region).

A Hawks win will lead to another home game a week later against either or .

Meanwhile, McEachern (9-1), whose , completed the season , 63-14. The Indians will play host to Region 3-AAAAA’s No. 3 team, Benedictine (5-5, 5-3).
