Region and State Action on Tuesday

Here's what's happening in high school athletics in East Cobb Patch on April 19.

Both region and state tournament action gets started on Tuesday for East Cobb Patch schools.

and will hit the links to compete in the Region 5-AAAAA golf tournament, while Walker School hosts the George Walton Academy in the first round of the Class-A tennis tournament.

Here's the rest of the high school sports schedule for Tuesday:

Baseball

Walker School at North Cobb Christian, 4:30 p.m.

Girls Soccer

North Cobb at Wheeler, 7:30 p.m.

at South Paulding, 5:30 p.m.

Walker School at Greater Atlanta Christian, 5 p.m.

Boys Soccer

Wheeler at Walton, 7:55 p.m.

Pope at South Paulding, 7:30 p.m.                    

Boys Golf

Walton will split up on Tuesday with six players competing in Regionals at Cobblestone Golf Club while four others travel to Brookfield Country Club to play against Roswell.

Wheeler will participate in the 5-AAAAA Regionals at Cobblestone Golf Club.

Boys Tennis

George Walton Academy at Walker School, 4 p.m. (First Round Class-A State Tournament)

Girls Lacrosse

Pope at West Forsyth, 7:30 p.m.

Boys Lacrosse

Mt. Paran at Pope, 4:30 p.m.
