High school football is back, and now every team in the area has at least one game under its belt. Here’s a brief look at the football action from the weekend in Powder Springs and Lithia Springs.

Hillgrove 41, Sprayberry 21—Senior running back Kenyan Drake carried the ball just seven times for on Friday, but he amassed 170 yards and scored two touchdowns as he paced the Hawks to a 20-point win. Wide receiver JoJo Marshall racked up 108 yards receiving and hauled in a touchdown catch as Hillgrove jumped out early and never looked back. For a photo gallery of the game, .

Haralson County 7, Lithia Springs 6— held a 6-0 lead late in the fourth quarter before a fourth down conversion from Haralson County succeeded for a go-ahead touchdown.
