Looking for Springtime in Georgia

Photo blog of Springtime!

This was an exhausting weekend for my family and I. The weekend included an ear piercing for the grand baby, Ikea, family all together, lunch at Taco Mac and a trip to the hospital for my son. Everything turned out alright. Thank God!

Monday included getting everyone to where they belonged with the cars that belonged to them.

I went home and really wanted to take a nap. I knew if I had slept I would probably miss getting some of the photos of my yard in Springtime. Seems like only a few days and the blooms are off the plants and trees.

I picked up my camera and went for a walk in my backyard. I think I got some of the prettiest pictures of the season’s flowers at their peak. I don’t know what some of the names of these flowers, are but just enjoyed their beauty for today.

To begin my photo show I do know this tree name. It is the Bradford Pear. The smell is gross. Confusion to the senses since you're looking at a beautiful tree but it smells like fish laying in the sunshine on a hot summer’s day in the South.

At the local high school, , the beautiful campus is lined with, I think, it must be in hundreds of these trees. Beautiful in bloom! The students at McEachern call it the salmon tree cause they smell like fish. Imagine having to smell that tree whenever you have to go from one area of the campus to the other.

Hope you enjoy the Springtime!
