Olympic Diver Draws Top Sports Bra Bid So Far

As of Monday night, Christina Loukas—a diver, member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic team, and nine-time national champion—had the highest bid in the MZ & Emmers Sports Bra Auction for Breast Cancer with $330.01.

She didn't have the most bids, though, out of the 227 items available, the vast majority of which are signed sports bras from female athletes around the world. That goes to ESPN reporter Sarah Spain with 54 bids; her high bid was $300.

The auction . Proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Survivors’ Network, Keep a Breast Foundation, and a California branch of Susan G. Komen, where Zerboni's family lives.

This year's auction started Saturday, and bidding will end at different times this weekend. See all the items here.

Other bids of note as of Monday night include $200 for slalom kayaker Caroline Queen, $152.50 for Zerboni, $112.50 for extreme athlete and model Roberta Mancino, and $107.50 for gymnast Aly Raisman.

There are still plenty of low-bidding opportunities left for those wanting to contribute but not being financially able to fork out the big bucks, including the initial $50 bid for perhaps the most famous sports-bra wearer of all time, Brandi Chastain.
