The teachers are warm, caring professionals who give 200% to their students. Students progress at their speed - no memorizing facts and regurgitating for the test - a true understanding of the subjects. Primary offers the base for students to move forward into elementary and middle school. They are introduced to math, language, botany, zoology, practical life skills and much, much more.

Wonderful school! Wonderful teachers!! Riverstone has had an incredible impact on my son!! We could not be more pleased with the education he is receiving.
We absolutely love Riverstone Montessori. Our son has been going since almost three years of age. The school teaches the holistic child, not just academics. Not only is the reading, writing, math and science instruction fabulous, but the life skills they teach are so wonderful. RMA really focuses on teaching children to really care for themselves, their environment and those around them. This is rare these days. Ms. Janie is really talented at what she does. She has patience and love for every child in the room. Ms. Carmita is a ray of sunshine and a positive spirit that is rare to find. And Ms. Traci loves every child as her own.
Our three-year-old son has been going to Riverstone Montessori for a few months now and he loves his teacher, the school, and the farm animals. We highly recommend this school!
Our grandkids love Riverstone -- so do their parents who are very active in the school and its various programs.

No tests, grades, homework or desks?
You might be saying WHAT? I am here to tell you that this program WORKS! My children, as a result of the education that have received from this school, are far more advanced and well-rounded than their peers. The multi-sensory learning approach that this school offers makes learning not only fun, but the retention of the information is amazing. They do not put a ceiling on the learning capabilities of the students, but instead challenge them on a daily basis. Not only do they learn the "basics", they also learn about community, responsibility, interpersonal communication, charity, and independence. This school produces intelligent, well-balanced, mindful and cultured young people. It is WORTH taking a look at for your child.
Riverstone Montessori is a special place for children learn about themselves, their capabilities, to be respectful of their family and friends while being active in their communities. They are taught to understand responsibility and how to wait for their turn. They are introduced to language and math in an unconventional, fun, and productive way, such as cooking (measurements) and taking care of their school pets (feeding, loving and protecting them). Riverstone Montessori gives them the chance to open their minds, to see ahead, discover their abilities and know they can follow their dreams. My grandson is part of this great school and community. I'm very happy he is having this opportunity to learn to be a responsible and active citizen at this early age. Thanks to all teachers and administrators for bring the families together on this process of learning and increasing self-confidence of our children.
This is a fantastic school! They've harnessed the effectiveness of Montessori education and created a warm and welcoming environment. What's better than hearing your four year old yell "YAY!" when he realizes it's a school day?
This is an excellent preparatory school. Two of my grandchildren did very well there and I trust the integrity of the staff fully. Riverstone Montessori provides a full realm of education and arts appreciation opportunities. Family members are consistently invited to attend functions displaying the various fields of study and interests and the knowledge and progress in which the students have gained.
Riverstone Montessori provides an unique and beautiful approach to education. My son goes there and started right before he turned 3 and just blossomed. The Primary teachers are extremely well prepared, caring and intuitive with the children. They can move at their own pace and things are looked at from a different perspective there. I've never seen a school quite like it. You can have 30 preschoolers in one room working harmoniously. There's a little magic in the air there and it's very special. Ms. Janie, Ms. Carmita, and Ms. Traci, including the administrators of the school, do everything they can to make it a strong, peaceful and caring community.
Our son recently started @ RMA and he loves it. He comes home every day excited to talk about all the new things he is learning and all the new friends he is making. He talks about his teachers and shows that in just a short time there is a connection with them and his classmates. The day is filled with learning, music and fun as well as fresh healthy foods and snacks - RMA offers a truly balanced environment for the children to learn and explore.
