The Pope Greyhounds wrestling team won the Region 5-AAAA Duals Tournament Saturday afternoon by defeating Alexander High School. Kell won the consolation (3rd Place) match by defeating Sprayberry High School.
Pope reaches the finals with a win over East Paulding; Alexander defeats Sprayberry for a spot in the finals.
The Pope wrestling team defeated East Paulding to reach the finals, as befitting its No. 1 seed in the Region 5-AAAA Duals Tournament. Pope will face Alexander in the finals. Alexander earned its spot by beating Sprayberry.
