Infosys already employs 350 people in the East Cobb area.
An Indian firm that specializes in information technology consulting is expanding its work force in Cobb County. At today's First Monday breakfast of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Infosys BPO Ltd. formally announced it would be adding 200 jobs to its current operations located in East Cobb. Infosys, based in Bangalore, India, employs between 60-100 people at the Wildwood corporate complex. According to The Marietta Daily Journal, Infosys also employs 250 more people on Powers Ferry Road after purchasing McCamish Systems in 2009. The new jobs will "support the Infosys Business Process Outsourcing subsidiary" and will be added in the Cumberland Mall area, according to a report on GPB.com.
