Teen Sings 'Santa Baby' at Coffee Shop

Thank you to Bobby Ayers for sending us these videos of his granddaughter, Shana Bishop, performing at Friday's Open Mic Night.

Shana Bishop, 13, was one of about 15 performers who showed their skills at the Powder Springs Coffee and Bake Shoppe during Friday's Open Mic Night, which was sponsored by Patch. In the above videos, Bishop sings "Hell on Heels" and "Santa Baby".  For a photo gallery of Friday's event, as well as a video of the performers joining together to sing "I'll Fly Away," click here.

In Photos: Musicians Jam Downtown

Patch sponsored an Open Mic Night Friday at the Powder Springs Coffee and Bake Shoppe.

Each person in attendance at Friday's Open Mic Night was given a ticket to write their favorite act on, and when all the votes were cast, the bluegrass music of Ron Cline and Randy Link came out on top. The pair, who took away a $100 gift card for being the top vote-getters, were among the 15 or so people who performed. Most sang and played instruments, but there was also some storytelling involved. The event, sponsored by Patch, was held at the Powder Springs Coffee and Bake Shoppe. In addition to the above photos, there is also a Youtube of several of the acts closing out the night with "I'll Fly Away."
