The Harrison High student who allegedly posted naked photos of at least eight children on pornographic websites created a company to gain the trust of the juveniles. Cobb County Police Sgt. Dana Pierce said Friday that authorities believe Michael William Cook operated under the company name Maxi Focus Photography between Nov. 1, 2012, and Jan. 1, the time frame that he allegedly posted onto pornographic websites individuals’ "naked" or "erotic" photos that he obtained through fraudulent means. The individuals depicted in the images are all under the age of 18, records show. One was 14 years old at the time the photo was taken. Authorities are investigating a Harrison High student who allegedly posted naked photos of at least eight children on pornographic websites, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant. Michael William Cook of Acworth was arrested about 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harrison, where he is a senior, according to online jail records. He is being held without bond in the Cobb County jail on various felony charges, including seven counts of cruelty to children in the first degree and one count of distribution of child pornography. A Cobb County man has been indicted for using social media to lure and then force teenagers into sending him nude pictures. Tremain Hutchinson, 27, of Mableton, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Dec. 18, 2012, on charges that he induced and coerced minors into producing child pornography, enticed and coerced minors into engaging in sexual activity, received and possessed child pornography, and transferred obscene material to minors. Hutchinson was arraigned in federal court Wednesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge E. My heart does not go out to his mother. My heart goes out to all the children who were used wrongfully. I teach my daughter to observe purdah, so this would not happen to her. He deserves to be punished. He was manipulative--he created a company that hurt, abused and exposed innocent children. It feeds a sick population. No doubt it was all about the money.
