Bio Brande Poulnot, an award-winning journalist and mother of two, is editor of Cartersville Patch. She is a University of Georgia graduate and former crime-beat reporter with The Daily Tribune News in Cartersville.

Beliefs

Brande is a conservative on fiscal issues but libertarian on personal issues and most often votes a Republican ticket.

Religion
Brande is a Christian, but doesn't regularly attend organized church services. She was raised in the Baptist faith and belongs to a Baptist church in Cartersville.

Brande thinks one of the most divisive issues for certain groups is the 411 Connector, but neither supports or opposes GDOT's plans to build it through Dobbins Mountain.
