ReplyHi Justin, thanks for the informative article. Its time to start reducing the load the children carry by having the large textbooks broken down into removable sections. Children should only have to carry the section they are currently studying. As a parent of 5 children and married to a Doctor of Chiropractic we were never able to get our 5 children to follow the back pack alignment process to avoid neck and back pain and they did just fine. Here's why: Our children have had regular chiropractic checkups their entire life. We were more concerned about the torque and tension the heavy backpack placed on our child's brain-stem and spinal cord versus the muscles of their back and neck because we knew that an uncorrected problem over time could alter body function. What's alarming is that parents may not realize that their child may already have an underlying spinal problem before the child started carrying a backpack. We don't ask the parents in our office to bring in their child's backpack so we may fit it properly. We ask the parent to bring in their child to make sure their body is working properly and able to adapt to all the stresses they put upon it everyday. It's not about the backpack its about their life.

ReplyIt is a sad day. This country was fought for INDEPENDENCE. That independence is slowly slipping further and further from us. Our Government needs to go back to what the Constitution was founded on. We are going backwards not forward if we keep running this country the way it is.

ReplyI had the pleasure of meeting Iain over 30 years ago when he started my life long journey and love of the sport of Rugby at Brookline High. I always remember him for loving to bust my chops at practice and on the field. He just wanted to bring out the best in me and I was determined to show him that I could play rugby and play well. His influence led me to play overseas for the USAF in Okinawa and the Philippines, as well as earning a scholarship to play for Life University. I have made many friends because of Iain. He not only had an impact on myself and the rest of the boys, but he had a profound influence on my brothers Joel (acting) and Michael (rugby). He will be missed but never forgotten.

Profits before people is what the Flu shot is all about. Why do we continue to promote this propaganda? Our families immune systems are continually being weakened by injecting artificial substances into our body and we wonder why we have more chronic health issues than ever before!
