ReplyI live on a corner lot on the main street into my neighborhood. I was awakened last Saturday morning around 5:30 by the sound of someone hammering a yard sale directional sign in my yard. As of today (Thursday) the sign is still in my yard, along with the ones they put at each entrance into the neighborhood. My short story is to ask that you please be mindful to remove your signs when you sale is over. Thanks!

ReplyAgree with Major Service Center ... they are awsome. Have taken many cars to them over the years and never disappointed.

ReplyThe trash collection is ridiculously high. I live just outside of the city limits and cancelled the city trash service last year. At the time I was paying $22/month for 1 can (not $20.50 as is stated above – was I being overcharged?). I now have 1 large can plus 1 smaller can for recyclables for $11/month. My daughter has just rented a home that is barely inside the city limits and she will have to pay $18.50/month for 1 can and no recycling. If the city outsources trash collecting, will the poor souls in the city limits be able to make their own decision as to who they can use for trash service?

I totally agree with Mr. Kaady. I too wanted to vote for both positions, but could not vote for county commissioner because I voted Republican in the primary. Therefore, I had no voice in who my county commissioner is.
